On March 27, 2018, the Rao Lab presented work, spearheaded by Dr. Qiang Li, on a new master control "switch" that controls retinal neuroectoderm versus mesoderm cell fate, at the Keystone Meeting: Gene Control in Disease & Development in Whistler, BC, Canada. Our epigenetics work was well received, and we were happy with the many constructive comments. Enjoyed some great food and scenery, top-shelf science, and potential new collaborations with Dr. Brian Capell and Dr. Rajan Jain at the University of Pennsylvania.
